大般若寺基金會是一中立、無種族歧視、無政治黨派立場之非營利組織，於西元二○一○年七月經柬埔寨王國政府立案成立，禮聘上道下院比丘尼為董事長。其宗旨為護持大般若寺比丘尼僧團之修行，弘揚與護持佛法的發展及佛法教義之培育。

本會以護持大般若寺建設、協助南傳比丘尼之傳承與弘揚、支持南北傳佛教文化交流事務，並推展佛教文化事業之弘揚活動為主要方向。

The Maha Panna Vihara Foundation Organization is a neutral, non-discriminatory, and non-partisan non-profit organization, officially registered and established by the Royal Government of Cambodia in July 2010. Preah Krou Nariyadhipatani Wu Yu Hua serves as the Chairperson of the Foundation.

The mission of the Foundation is to support the monastic practice of the Bhikkhuni Sangha at Maha Panna Vihara, and to promote and uphold the development of the Buddha-Dharma and the education of Buddhist teachings. The Foundation's primary activities include supporting the construction and development of Maha Panna Vihara, assisting in the preservation and promotion of the Theravada Bhikkhuni lineage, facilitating cultural exchange between Mahayana and Theravada Buddhism, and advancing the promotion of Buddhist cultural initiatives.

大般若寺以弘揚南傳長老尼僧團、培育尼眾人才、推動佛法學習與禪修為核心。寺院自成立以來，長期護持僧眾教育與清淨修行，並提供信眾親近佛法、學習禪修與參與護法的因緣。

The Bhikkhuni Sangha of Maha Panna Vihara receives sponsorship in Cambodia and continues to emphasize Buddhist learning, meditation practice, and the preservation of monastic discipline.

Beginning in 2010, the Bhikkhunis started planning for the construction of Maha Panna Vihara. Land preparation and temple construction developed gradually through the support of donors and volunteers. Today, the temple continues to serve as a place for study, practice, retreat, and cultural exchange.

大般若寺以禪修為主，平時開放部分時段供一般民眾學習禪修。
